Welcome to the web site of the NDP Toronto Area Council

The Toronto Area Council is an authorized local council of the New Democratic Party of Ontario formed to provide a vehicle for NDP members in Toronto to work together to develop and strengthen the party in Toronto and engage in the social issues of the day.

The Council is headed by an elected Steering Committee and does the bulk of its work thorough the Working Groups. The current Steering Committee was elected at the second Annual General Meeting of the Council held on May 28, 2011. See the Contact page for how to contact members of the Steering Committee.
